Pure Oxide

Pure Oxide is made from tech oxide in an electric furnace. Enough heat is added to sublime the technical grade molybdic oxide. Pure MoO3 leaves as a vapor, while most of the impurities stay behind on the hearth and are removed as tailings. The vapor which contains MoO3 is removed from the furnace, cooled, and sent to a baghouse. Here, the purified MoO3 is collected and subsequently densified and packed.
